I requested a recommendation on a fan and I had Amazon deliver it to the door. RARE promptly sent a service tech over to install it with a rocker switch on the wall as well as a remote control. The Casablanca fan is so well balanced there is no noticeable oscillation present, even with the unit free hanging on a three-foot extension from the high, sloped ceiling.
